I had a great entry yesterday, thus I hate to put a new one up so quickly, but some things are more important than creative Harry Potter casting choices and making out.Former President Reagan passed away today at 93.
As you proud Republicans may empathize, I am truly beside myself.
And I don't want to hear one word from you liberals. Reagan, like Bush, knew that freedom came at a heavy price, and devoted his presidency to arming the United States against the Russians, ultimately winning the Cold War, bringing about the thunderous fall of Communism, and preventing most of Eastern Europe from adopting Russian as their national language. And the fact that he left office with the highest approval rating EVER proves that America was more than willing to shoulder the new burden of a tripled national debt in the name of global freedom.
So don't come at me with that weak "But Andy, he said that ketchup was a vegetable!" crap.
Sigh. I'm gonna go gorge on jellybeans. Truly beside myself.
