Webster University film production program, fall 2000 - present. Commissioned by Pi Kappa Delta to produce and direct a comprehensive documentary on the organization, film shown to over 700 forensic students at the 2003 PKD national convention. Two national championships in Oral History (documentary filmmaking) competition. Designed and implemented curriculum for university video production class. Writer of five narrative films, director of four. Official selections, St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase and Webster Univ. Golden Paws. On-set experience, multiple student productions. Intern: Trilogy Entertainment Group, Santa Monica, CA, summer 2003. Duties included script coverage and office assistance. Three month employment.
Webster University forensics (speech and debate) team, fall 2000 - present. Top speaker, 2004 Honorary National Tournament. Pi Kappa Delta national championships: Oral History (see above) 2001 and 2003, Dramatic Interpretation 2003, Program Oral Interpretation 2003, Readers Theater 2003. 2001-2002 top speaker of the state of Missouri. Boy Scouts of America, 1988 - present. Eagle Scout. Ingersoll Scout Reservation, summer 2002. Director, Scout to First Class program. Coordinated curriculum and taught classes to over 500 boys. Classes emphasized core of basic communication and intermediate outdoor skills. Eight week summer residency. Managed, supervised staff.
Ringler Associates, fall 2001 - present. Office assistant to structured settlement brokerage firm. Company worked with accident victims and lawyers developing insurance policies to supplement victims’ daily incomes. Duties included office management, data maintenance.
I am exhausted and have nothing important to say at the moment, but I'm working up the gumption to get my cover letter in the bag. Woo.
I've told this story before, but a few years ago when I was drunk, I decided to update my resume. I woke up the next morning and at the end on the Boy Scouts section was the word, "AStronuat."
